The book, Hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, takes place in Coldwater, Maine. In my opinion, it seems like this would be a small town, with not many people, considering the police just drop my Nora's house every so often. Not much must be going on if they have time for that. Also, considering the incident in the school, and that going on for quite sometime, reveals to me the lack of communication in this town. When Nora says that she has to go to Delphic Beach, which is supposedly, a long drive away, according to her mother, also makes me think that Coldwater is a small town. It appears to me, taking into account how Nora's house is described, that it is an old farm house, very big and wide. Possibly built more than 100 years ago. I picture it looking similar to the picture below:
